✨We have free parking available at the retreat. Only the last 01 km stretch is a hard mud mountain road, the rest of the way is a nice easy drive on a tar road.
✨ If you are coming via flight/train, it’s recommendable to arrive at Chandigarh Airport/Railway station.
✨ We do not own any taxis but have multiple reliable taxi drivers whom we have been using for many years now. Feel free to ask us for their contact details.

Multiways to reach Vaatalya

  • Pvt Taxi: Hire a taxi from your pick-up point in Chandigarh to Vaatalya. Approx cost INR INR 4000 one way for Sedan & INR 5500 for Innova approximately.

    Self Drive: Parking is available at the retreat.

    Local Transport: From Chandigarh take a local bus to “Dharlaghat”. Costs around INR 700 | 6 hrs for Non Ac bus. Take a taxi from Dharlaghat to Vaatalya. Taxi costs around INR 1000.

    Distance/Time from Chandigarh to Vaatalya in Pvt Vehicle: 105 km/ 3.5 to 04 hrs

  • Train: Book train no. 12011 is named as Kalka Shatabdi. It leaves New Delhi at 07:40 on day 1 and reaches Chandigarh at around 1100 am on the same day. Hire a taxi from Chandigarh station to Vaatalya. Vande Barat is also available which reaches Chandigarh an hour early.
