A Naturalist understands nature by watching it closely: birds, forests, insects, tracks, sounds, everything. Think David Attenborough on Planet Earth. It’s not a hobby: it’s a trained way of reading the natural world.

Who is a Naturalist?

“No one will protect what they don’t care about; and no one will care about what they have never experienced.

-DAVID ATTENBOROUGH

The world’s most respected voice
on nature and wildlife.

  • Adults Only (18+): This experience is exclusively designed for adults. It is a quiet, immersive retreat suitable for solo travelers, couples, and friends looking to reconnect with nature.

No Children: To maintain the pacing and depth of the discussions, we cannot accommodate participants under 18 for this specific edition.

    • Moderate fitness is recommended. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable walking on uneven mountain trails and forest paths. We typically cover 3–5 km at a slow, observational pace. If you enjoy a good morning walk, you will be fine!

  • It is the perfect blend of both. Think of it as an interactive holiday where you leave with new eyes for the forest. There are structured field sessions, but also plenty of downtime to soak in the views, read a book, or enjoy the sunset at Vaatalya.

  • Stay: 02 Nights / 03 Days at Vaatalya (accommodation as selected).

Meals: All 3 meals included — fresh, seasonal, homestyle vegetarian.

Experience: All guided walks, workshops, and sessions led by our Award-Winning Naturalist.

    Taxes: GST included.

  • To Secure Your Spot: A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable.

Balance Payment: The remaining 50% is due 10 days prior to arrival.
