Private Taxi: Direct from Chandigarh to Vaatalya – approx. ₹4000-4500 (Sedan) / (Innova Charges Extra).

Self-Drive: Free parking available. The route is scenic, and the last 1 km is a fun off-road stretch—perfect if you’re up for a little adventure.

Local Transport:
-Bus from Chandigarh to Dharlaghat – ~₹900 (Non-AC, 6 hrs).
-Taxi from Dharlaghat to Vaatalya – ~₹1000.

Distance/Time: 105 km | 4 hrs by car.

Train: Book train no. 12011 is named as Kalka Shatabdi. It leaves New Delhi at 07:40 on day 1 and reaches Chandigarh at around 1100 am on the same day. Hire a taxi from Chandigarh station to Vaatalya. Vande Barat is also available which reaches Chandigarh an hour early.

Taxi: Hire a taxi from your pick up point at New Delhi to Vaatalya

PS: If coming on self drive we recommend you to leave at around 0400-0500 AM from New Delhi/NCR to reach here at a reasonable time.

Bus from Shimla: Hire a local bus from Shimla Bus stands to “Piplughat”. From Piplughat hire a taxi to reach Vaatalya
